Exam registration fees vary depending on the candidate
Internal users: students enrolled at the University of Macerata (= bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and specialisation schools); doctoral students; Erasmus students and students of other international exchange programmes, recent graduates and post graduates not exceeding 2 years; teaching staff, researchers and technical administrative staff of the University; school children, students from other Italian Universities or School that have a partnership the University of Macerata: such persons are entitled to a reduction established by the Cambridge English Language Assessment.
External users: those who do not fall into the above-mentioned category.
Since 2011, the CLA has acquired the status of Open Centre; therefore anyone, even private candidates, may enrol for the Cambridge English exams.
Since March 2011, in the event that a candidate does not seem to be fully at the level for the exam chosen but for the one immediately below, he/she will still be given a certificate indicating his/her actual level (language skills). For further information: Extended Certification.
As of 2012, Cambridge English requires that the exam Centres take a digital photograph of the candidates on the day of the exam. The photograph should be kept in a special section on the site of certifying body and should be made accessible only by way of the login credential appearing on the COE (Confirmation of Entry) needed to check exam results. This procedure guarantees the security and validity of the Cambridge English certification.
