The “Italiano Più” project is the fruit of close collaboration between Macerata’s University Language Centre (CLA) and Laboratorio Edulingua, both of which have become specialised over the years in the organisation and management of Italian language and culture courses for foreigners in the Marche Region, right in the heart of Italy.
Founded in 1290, the University of Macerata – one of Italy’s oldest universities – focuses its activities on human and social sciences, hosting a growing number of foreign students every year.
“Laboratorio Edulingua”, which is located in the lively city of S. Severino Marche, is a Training Board accredited by the Marche Region that has extensive, qualified experience in the organisation of study holidays and language immersion courses. “Italiano Più” is aimed in particular at students who have already obtained a high school diploma or a higher education qualification and who wish to enrol in Italian Universities, Fine Arts Institutes or Music Academies, but who are lacking any elementary knowledge of Italian. Chinese students who enrol within the framework of Marco Polo and Turandot mobility programmes will be able to take advantage of the many benefits foreseen for enrolment in Italian Higher Education Institutes.
